Tomorrow’s Youth Organization (TYO) is an American, non-governmental organization that works in disadvantaged areas of the Middle East, enabling children, youth and parents to realize their potential as healthy, active and responsible family and community members.

Children experience their first institutional interaction through TYO programming. The lasting impact of quality intervention at this age is well documented, particularly as an antidote to challenging circumstances such as violence or poverty.

Youth populations are one of the greatest risks and opportunities in the Middle East. TYO facilitates young people’s development as engaged citizens and professionals to favor positive outcomes for these individuals and society more broadly.

Women are a crucial target group for TYO because of their central role in the family and potential leadership in community change. Basic knowledge about health and child development, combined with self-confidence and other life skills, represents huge value added for these women and their children and families. Further, since women on average invest far more of their earned revenue in their families' well being than men, TYO has developed various programs that foster the entrepreneurial spirit and endeavors of women.

Hands-on Involvement:
A functional approach to development is the most effective means of achieving societal change and greater stability in the Middle East. At TYO, qualified American interns and staff work side-by-side with local staff, volunteers, and community members to implement programs, matching international best practices with on-the-ground realities and needs. This direct cooperation between Americans and people from the most at-risk communities in the Middle East is integral to the success of TYO programs, and also promotes invaluable cultural understanding: an important catalyst of social change within our global community.

Comprehensive Development:
Economic prosperity and community revitalization cannot be achieved without quality basic education, which in turn relies on healthy social and physical development. TYO is committed to offering well-rounded educational programming for children, including health, English, computer, and art classes. Through this comprehensive approach, TYO participants acquire tangible skills for life and work, while also becoming healthier, more self-confident and hopeful about their potential to contribute to their community’s brighter future.
TYO recognizes that to best support children we must also empower their support networks. Inasmuch, TYO’s training programs in economic, personal, and parenting skills engage current and future parents. Since our programs are multi-generational, they target many strategic groups within the community, multiplying the impact and sustainability of TYO‘s efforts.

Charities to which you have donated may from time to time send us updates on the work projects which they are carrying out. We may send these updates to you by email for your information, provided you have not opted out of receiving them. We will not pass on any personal data to any Charity or other third party. You confirm that the information given is personal to you and you will not give us information on behalf of someone else.   2. REGISTRATION AS A DONOR
    • You warrant, undertake and agree that:
      • You are free to register as a Donor and to create your own account.
      • The information that is registered by you is true, accurate, current and complete and you undertake to maintain and promptly update the information to keep it true, accurate and complete.
      • You are authorised and/or have the capacity to enter into this binding contract with us.
    • Each account registration is for a single user only. We advise that you do not share your user name or password with any other person/user.
    • Responsibility for the security of any passwords issued rests with you as does responsibility for all activities that occur under that password. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password, you should contact us immediately. We do not accept any responsibility for fraudulent use of any account whereby the username and password has been used to access the account.
    • We reserve in our absolute discretion the right to refuse and/or cancel your registration and/or to prevent donations from being made via the Website or to withdraw the donation service generally.
    • We do not accept any responsibility for or endorse any of the activities of Charities registered with this Website.
    • We have no control over whether Charities and third parties will accept any proposed donations via the Website.
    • We keep a record of each Donor’s registration details and details of any donations made by you for a period ending six years after the termination of the Donor’s registration. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
  3. DONATIONS
    • We accept no responsibility for any use or purpose which your nominated Charity may make in respect of any donation made through this Website. We take no responsibility for your dissatisfaction with the use of your donation to any Charity. If you have cause for dissatisfaction with the use of your donation, you should contact the Charity directly. Without limitation to the above or any other provision of these terms and conditions, we shall have no liability of any kind in circumstances where the Charity ceases to exist, becomes insolvent, stops carrying on operations for any reason, fails to apply any donation in connection with a particular project (or at all) or otherwise misuses any donation from you.
    • There shall be no refund in respect of any donation made through the Website, unless we are satisfied that your credit card has been used without your authorisation. If you become aware of the unauthorised use of your card then you must contact your card issuer in accordance with your arrangement with them.
    • In the event that you fail to access your account at any time for a period of 180 days or more, we shall have the right at our sole discretion to allocate and donate any balance on your account at that time to any Charity on the Website.
    • We do not accept any liability for donations made to organisations which have ceased to have official charitable status as decreed by the Revenue Commissioners, the Commissioners for Charitable Bequest in Ireland and/or Charities Regulatory Authority or any other competent body or authority.
    • We apply an administrative charge to all donations which are received from you through the Website. This charge is currently set at 3% of the donation amount, which charge will be deducted from your donation at the point of transfer to your account.
    • To make payment instructions you must follow the procedures set out on the Website. On receipt of a valid payment instruction from you we will request your credit card company to pay us the amount of the payment instruction (withdrawal). You must ensure that you have sufficient funds available for the payment instruction. We will pay the amount of the withdrawal (less charges) to your specific Website account. You may then use funds available in your Website account to donate to Charities on the Website.
    • If your credit card company does not provide us with the amount of the payment instruction we reserve the right to reverse any related payment made to a Charity or otherwise, and charge you for such a reverse. We reserve the right to limit the number of credit cards registered to your Website account.
    • Payment instruction can be made with a credit card by registering the details of your credit card on your Website account and making a payment instruction in accordance with instructions on the Website. If the credit card has expired you will not be permitted to make a payment instruction using this credit card. If you are making donations by credit card you hereby agree and assure us that (i) all credit card information supplied is true, correct and complete, (ii) the person making the donation is duly authorised to use the credit card for that purpose; and (iii) the donation and charges will be honoured by your credit card company. If you discover that a donation to your Website account has been made on this Website using your credit card details in circumstances where you had not authorised this, then (provided you have not, through failure to take reasonable care, allowed an unauthorised person to gain access to your credit card, its details or password) we may refund to you the donation to your Website account (less an administration charge) received provided that: (a) you inform us and your credit card company of the unauthorised payment as soon as you discover it; and (b) you co-operate with us and your credit card company and, if necessary, the gardai in relation to the unauthorised use. All donations made via the Website are final unless fraudulent use of the card is proven in accordance with this section. For the avoidance of doubt the provisions regarding refund shall not apply in circumstances where instructions have been received by us to make a donation to a Charity from your Website account, as we have no ability to request the Charity to refund the amount to your Website account in such circumstances.
    • We may from time to time enter into arrangements with third parties who wish to put a payroll giving service in place in respect of their personnel. Any person who participates in such a scheme with their employer/place of work will be deemed to be a Donor as set out in these terms and conditions. The process whereby monies are deducted from relevant salaries and transferred to us will be detailed and agreed between the personnel and their employers/places of work at the time that such persons agree to participate in the payroll giving service.
  4. SERVICE ACCESS
    • While we endeavour to ensure that this Website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
    • Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.
    • We reserve the right to suspend or withdraw the facility for making donations via the Website at any time.

  11. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
    • Any user who fails to comply in any way with these terms and conditions may at our sole discretion and without prior notification, be suspended or banned altogether from using the Website.
    • We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach (or we suspect that you breach or may in the future breach) any of your obligations under these terms and conditions.
  12. TERMINATION
    • Without prejudice to Sections 6, 7, 8 or 10 or any other terms in any other contract between us, we may terminate your registration with the Website or your use of the Website on written notice (which shall include e-mail) if you breach of any of the terms and conditions of this Website and fail to correct such breach within five (5) days following adequate notice (which shall include e-mail) from us specifying the breach or in the case of a breach of Sections 6, 7, 8 or 10, we may terminate forthwith without notice.
    • You may terminate this your registration with the Website upon written notice (which shall include e-mail) if we go into insolvent liquidation, receivership or examinership or we are deemed to be unable to pay your debts as they fall due within the meaning of section 214 of the Companies Act, 1963 (as amended, extended, consolidated, or replaced). We may terminate your registration with the Website upon written notice (which shall include e-mail) if we believe that you have breached Sections 6, 7, 8 or 10 or you are a company and you go into insolvent liquidation, receivership or examinership or you are deemed to be unable to pay your debts as they fall due within the meaning of section 214 of the Companies Act, 1963 (as amended, extended, consolidated, or replaced), or if you are in individual and you are declared a bankrupt. Without limitation to the foregoing, either party may terminate your registration with the Website upon 14 days written notice to the other. Any funds which remain in your account at the date of termination will be refunded to the Donor.
    • In the event of the use of the Website being terminated for any user, that user or organisation will still be bound by the terms and conditions of the Website in all matters relating to the Website.
    • Termination of these terms and conditions for any reason shall not affect the accrued rights of the parties.
  13. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law. Disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
    • We do not warrant that materials/items on the Website are appropriate or available for use outside Ireland. It is prohibited to access the Website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful. If you access this Website from locations outside Ireland, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
  14. MISCELLANEOUS
    • You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights under these terms and conditions
    • If any provision of these terms and conditions is found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall continue to have full force and effect.
